Susan MacDonald, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Dr. MacDonald specializes in urethral reconstruction, prosthetic urology, graft and flap creation, and microsurgical dissection.
Dr. MacDonald earned her medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She then completed her urologic residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, followed by a fellowship in Reconstructive Urology at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
In addition to her work in reconstructive urology, Dr. MacDonald treats a wide variety of men's health issues, ranging from infertility to erectile dysfunction and Peyronie's disease to voiding dysfunction. Dr. MacDonald also takes a strong interest in global health. She has organized and traveled with medical outreach trips to Mexico as a medical student, and now, as a reconstructive surgeon, she has traveled to India multiple times with a team of surgeons to provide complex urethral repair for those in need.
