Bart A. Frizzell, MD

Bart A. Frizzell, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and of Urology at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Frizzell’s research interests include prostate brachytherapy and cancers of the prostate, bladder, and head and neck. 

Dr. Frizzell earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his internship  at Methodist Central Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Frizzell then completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. He has received the CMS Meaningful Use State 1 Certification for his work in the field.
