Bart A. Frizzell, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and of Urology at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a radiation oncologist with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Frizzell’s research interests include prostate brachytherapy and cancers of the prostate, bladder, and head and neckHis clinical interests include basal cell carcinoma and adrenal, bladder, anal, bile duct, and bone cancer.

Dr. Frizzell earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He completed his internship at Methodist Central Hospital in Dallas, Texas, and then completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. He successfully attested to CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 and Stage 2 requirements.
