Jeff Albaugh, PhD, APRN, CUCNS, is a board-certified Advanced Practice Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist who runs the Sexual Health Clinic at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He practices a holistic approach to men, women, and couples to determine all possible physical, psychological, relational, religious, and social issues that might impact sexual function.

Dr. Albaugh completed his PhD with his NIH funded research looking at quality of life after treatment of erectile dysfunction in post prostatectomy men at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Albaugh has been acknowledged with multiple awards including two nursing excellence awards and the patient’s first award from Northwestern, multiple lectureship and literary awards, both SUNA President’s awards for contributions to urologic nursing and to the Society of Urologic Nursing and the Edward C. Kaps Hope Award for his contributions to men with prostate cancer.  

Dr. Albaugh has been quoted in the media and publications and was the featured expert in the Ask the Expert column for the Chicago Tribune, the New York Times, Martha Stewart’s Whole Living, WGN News, CBS 2 News in Chicago, and the Chicago Tribune Red Eye. He is an internationally recognized speaker and expert who has spoken throughout the United States as well as Spain, Italy, Scotland, England, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.
