Functional and Reconstructive Urology (FRU) is a rapidly expanding subspecialty with the vision to improve the lives of all patients with urinary disorders.
The 1st International Functional and Reconstructive Urology Update (IFRUU) will bring together urologists, APPs, and other practitioners from around the world interested in functional urologic disorders. The goal is to provide a comprehensive approach to these disorders in men and women, both neurogenic and non-neurogenic. Tier 1, 2, and 3 therapies will be discussed, including pharmacologic treatment, surgery, and neuromodulation, along with integrative approaches, including diet, lifestyle changes, physical therapy, and physiotherapy. Â
Topics will include BPH, Men’s health, OAB, female incontinence, prolapse, UTIs, male incontinence, neuro-urology, prosthetic urology, robotics, urethral stricture, ureteral stricture, practice management, new technology, and social media. These discussions aim to equip practitioners with the tools to manage patients with functional urologic disorders effectively.
