About the 30th Annual Perspectives in Urology: Point Counterpoint conference: Presented by Program Chair and Grand Rounds in Urology Editor-in-Chief E. David Crawford, MD, this conference brought together leading experts in urology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology to discuss and debate the latest topics in genitourinary cancers, primarily prostate cancer and bladder cancer. This interactive conference offered topical lectures, pro/con debates, interesting-case presentations, interactive panel discussions, and interactive audience and faculty networking.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Cohen was born and raised in Los Angeles and earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA with magna cum laude honors and initiation into Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended the University of California Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Cohen completed his surgical internship and urologic residency at the University of San Diego Medical Center. He has been in practice in La Jolla and Encinitas, California, since 1990.
Dr. Cohen has served as Chief of Urology at Scripps La Jolla and Scripps Encinitas Hospitals and has served as Chief of Staff of Scripps Encinitas. He is currently President of Genesis Healthcare Partners, a multi-specialty LUGPA in San Diego with 30 providers.
