Gregg R. Eure, MD, FACS

Gregg R. Eure, MD, FACS, is a urologist who specializes in adult urology and men’s health. His expertise includes treatments for benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), or enlarged prostate, including minimally invasive and laser techniques. Dr. Eure earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, here he also completed his general surgery training. He completed a urology residency at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk. Dr. Eure’s 30 years of experience include building a practice in Hampton Roads, where his peers recognized him as a “Top Doc” in Coastal Virginia Magazine for the last 15 years. He was also associate professor of urology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Eure now practices with UVA Community Health at Culpeper Medical Center, where he treats conditions including prostate disease, erectile dysfunction, and kidney stones and performs no-scalpel vasectomies.

Dr. Eure is active in clinical research and was part of the FDA approval trial for Aquablation, a robotic procedure for BPH. He also contributed to the development of UroLift, a minimally invasive BPH treatment. Dr. Eure has also operated and taught GreenLight laser treatment for BPH in 14 different countries. He is a consultant for several medical equipment companies and the author of numerous book chapters and articles. He has served on numerous advisory and editorial boards and frequently lectures on various topics in urology and especially BPH.
