Granville L. Lloyd, MD, is an associate professor and urology program director at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. He is also the director of robotic surgery at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Administration Medical Center in Aurora. Dr. Lloyd earned his medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and completed his residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, where he was chief resident in urology. He completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester in New York. Dr. Lloyd is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology, and his clinical interests include robotic minimally invasive surgery and urologic oncology. 

Dr. Lloyd’s recognitions and awards include Top Cited Article, Jan 2021- Dec 2022, British Journal of Urology International (BJUI), Wiley Publishing (2023); the Outstanding Teacher Award, Operative and Perioperative Care, CU Anschutz School of Medicine (2022); and the Golden Apple Award: Teacher of the Year, Department of Surgery (2020). 

In his spare time, Dr. Lloyd is an avid mountain biker, skier, and hockey player.
