Jeffery J. Tosoian, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at Vanderbilt University, as well as the Director of Translational Cancer Research. Dr. Tosoian went to Medical School and spent his Residency at John Hopkins Medical Institution and continued with his fellowship at the University of Michigan in Urologic Oncology and Translational Cancer Research.
Dr. Tosoian specializes in the early diagnosis and management of urologic cancers, and his clinical interests include Elevated PSA, Prostate Cancer, Kidney Cancer, Bladder Cancer, and Testis Cancer. In addition to Dr. Tosoian’s role as a clinician and surgeon, he is a recognized leader in clinical and translational prostate cancer research, leading the Prostate Cancer Risk Clinic, a clinical program for informed early screening in patients with a strong family history or known genetic mutation associated with prostate cancer. Dr. Tosoian's ongoing research has led to the development of new, non-invasive tools to guide cancer diagnosis and management.
