Fusion-guided Ablation with Koelis ProMap-FT – Summary
Niranjan Nayar, MHA, explains the principles of fusion-guided ablation, a cutting-edge procedure that integrates real-time ultrasound with pre-acquired MRI images to precisely target and treat prostate lesions. This method enhances the accuracy of ablation, minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue and improving patient outcomes.
Dr. Nayar highlights the system’s advanced imaging technology, which allows for precise lesion localization and treatment planning. He elaborates on the benefits of using Koelis ProMap-FT, its user-friendly interface, enhanced visualization, and real-time feedback, which collectively contribute to higher precision and efficacy in ablation procedures.
Nayar emphasizes the importance of adopting advanced technologies like Koelis ProMap-FT in urological practice to enhance diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic outcomes. He advocates for continued research and collaboration to further refine and expand the applications of fusion-guided ablation.
